It's called http://www.iobit.com/advancedwindowscareper.html and it is LOADED with useful tools to clean, optimize,
and make your PC run smooth and fast. They do have a version you can purchase, but the free one works great and it is not a "trial". it really is
free. Highly recommend it!

My internet service (Charter.net) offers a free securite suite thats suppose to scan viruses etc and keep your pc clean. Last week, I got a virus that it would
not detect or take off.
I finally had to take it to a shop where they charged me $90.00 just to clean the virus. I had downloaded a few virus scan programs but they didn't help. They installed the AVG program Snake mentioned. Probebley all I needed to repair it. Thanks for the info....will look deeper. |

Shock, I'm not a computer genius by any means but if you have a problem you can ask me or ask here first and maybe someone can suggest or give you the
answer. I would hate to have to pay someone to remove a virus.

Ditto on that.. If you have AVG get rid of the program from the internet company. The two will conflict.
